I am delighted and proud to once again be selected as one of the 100 Most Influential African Women 2021 by Avance Media, under the category of CSO & Philanthropy, as part of the 'Be a Girl' Mentorship Program.

Thank you for recognizing my efforts and Merck Foundation's commitment towards building healthcare capacity, empowering girls in education so that they can reach their potential and pursue their dreams. I promise to continue to empower women, support girl education, and build healthcare capacity in Africa, Asia, and beyond.

Happy to be selected for the second time together with these exceptional women leaders in Africa:

  • Victoire Tomegah Dogbé, Prime Minister, Togo
  • HE Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the Republic of Tanzania
  • HE Jessica Rose Epel Alupo, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda
  • HE Mariam Chabi Talata, Vice President of the Republic of Benin

Congratulations to all. Well deserved.

Kind regards,
Senator, Dr. Rasha Kelej
